ATS2992: Global Immersion Guarantee Program

Global Immersion Guarantee

The unit explores the impact of the global movement of people and goods on environmental sustainability. Based in different international locations, students will undertake field work with partner organisations that focus on areas such as food and water security, conservation and urbanisation, eco-tourism, the impact of key regional economic sectors on the local environment, global supply chains and environmental sustainability. The fieldwork components of this unit will allow students to apply the theoretical knowledge they gain in class to real world problems. Refer to the program website for more details.

Application restrictions
  • Only Monash Australia students enrolled in Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Global Studies (including double degrees) can apply for this program.

Available block dates
The program will run over the following block periods. You will be allocated to one block period.
  • Block 1: 19th - 30th November 2018
  • Block 2: 3rd - 14th December 2018
  • Block 3: 7th - 18th January 2019
  • Block 4: 21st January - 1st February 2019
  • Block 5: 4th- 15th February 2019
